Can't Kill These!

I've been garden plating my ass off since I acquired my new business back in January and it's really starting to pay off.  I honestly can't believe how successful it's been thus far.  I really enjoy making them and equally enjoy selling them! I've been participating in Galveston's ArtWalk and various other markets around the State of Texas for the last several months.  Coast Magazine did a story on me that was included in the Sunday paper over Memorial Weekend and the magazine hits newsstands all over Texas this week. The article is wonderfully written and the pictures are beautiful to boot. I'm so happy.  I feel added pressure to crank out as many Garden Plates as I possibly can, as special orders are already rolling in from the weekend's publication dropping.  Between my bartending gig,  home projects and the new Garden Plate business I'm feeling a little stretched.... and I'm loving every minute of it.
I'll be at ArtWalk this Saturday,  June 2nd in front of Luna Home and Gifts on the corner of 22nd and Church, setting up a little early,  from 4-10PM.
The following Saturday,  June 9th I'll be in Houston showing/selling my Galveston Garden Plates at the Evening Market at Sawyer Yards from 6-10PM.
June 16th I'll be home in Galveston for the Galveston Island Market from 10-4PM at 23rd and Mechanic.
Come visit me at one of my markets and get your Galveston Garden Plate.... or if you're ever in Galveston you can schedule studio time and purchase one directly from my studio on 19th Street! Also you can message me and purchase directly from the "Our Gallery" photo album on Galveston Garden Plates Facebook Page.
Happy Summer!
